My team and I launched a multi-channel marketing campaign that involved engaging short form videos, e-mail marketing and PR mailers - increasing Profusion’s brand awareness and promoting its new collection. The goal of this campaign was to embrace the uniqueness of “Jurassic World” and mesh the beauty world with dinosaurs.
Social Media Marketing: As a part of the in-house content creation and marketing team, I collaborated with my colleagues to devise an engaging media plan that would reach beauty and dino enthusiasts. In total, our Jurassic World palette video garnered a total of 367K views combined.
Influencer Marketing: My team and I collaborated with the in-house design team to create a custom PR box encompassing the Jurassic World theme that included stickers and a brochure with product descriptions. We sent out 100 complimentary PR mailers to a selected group of creators who shared a passion for beauty, lifestyle, or dinosaurs. Each creator was organically identified and recruited.
Campaign Results: Thanks to a beautifully designed collection and a strong marketing campaign that was heavily focused on social and digital, the Profusion x Jurassic World collection “broke through the gates” and smashed all historical online sales records for the company. Our FB & IG store saw a 366% increase of sales over the same period the year prior and for the first time the e-commerce online store reached over $100k in a single monthly period –twice. The success of this collection and the reach it had through social media increased our engagement and overall brand awareness. On top of all that, Profusion won the Walmart’s 2022 Health & Beauty Award.
